Permits

There are several different types of permits issued by the City of Vidalia:

• Building Permits (including remodeling)
• Electrical
• Plumbing
• Mechanical
• Land Disturbing Activity
• Land Clearing
• Tree Trimming & Removal (Commercial & Industrial zones only)
• Sign Permit

Permits can be obtained at the City Marshal's office in City Hall.  Inspections may be required prior to permits being issued, and during the building process.  For more information on the appropriate permit required, or permit information, please contact the Marshal's office at 912-537-7661.
