Vidalia Aquatics Center

The Aquatics Center is located at 2706 Sweet Onion Drive.  Hours of operation are:   Monday - Closed; Tuesday - Saturday - 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM;  Sunday 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Fees:

2 and Under – FREE

3 and Up - $5.00/per person

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Children under 12 must be accompanied by a guardian (16 or older).

Parents/Guardians are responsible for the supervision of their children at all times.

Life guards are responsible for ensuring safety and responding to emergencies, not child supervision.

Lifeguards have final authority on all safety rules.

Proper swimsuit and swim attire are required. No cutoff shorts, no thongs allowed, etc.No exceptions will be made.

Swim diapers are required for all diaper dependent guests.  (Swim diapers will be available for purchase at $2.00 each in the concession stand.)

No outside toys or inflatables are allowed inside the park.

Bathers are allowed to wear US Coast Guard approved flotation devices only.

Grills or any other cooking equipment are not allowed on pool property. This includes the parking lot area. No exceptions.

Music devices of any kind are not allowed on pool property. This includes boom boxes, etc. There is no access to a sound system at the facility.

No outside food is allowed.  (Concession stand will be open and available during Open Swim operating hours.)

No coolers are allowed.

Absolutely NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES, OR SMOKING are allowed on or around the facility or in the parking area.Persons who have been drinking are not allowed on or around the premises.

If inclement weather arises, the facility will be closed based upon the reading of the lightning detector by a lifeguard.

The Aquatics Center is also available for rental for parties, reunions, etc.  The rental agreement and available dates for rental are listed below for review.  For further information, please contact the Vidalia Recreation Department.

For beginning swimmers, swimming lessons will be offered each season.  Please contact our Recreation Department for information.
