RUOK? Program

RUOK? is a program which allows elderly residents in the City of Vidalia the independence of living alone in their homes, while also providing the security of being monitored through personal telephone contact. After signing up, a member of the police department will contact you by telephone on predetermined days of the week at a specific time to check up on you and make sure you are OK. If you do not answer, a police officer will be sent to your home to check on your welfare.

If you are interested in signing up for this program, please download and complete the form at the bottom of the page. Registration forms can also be obtained at the police department Monday-Friday from 8AM to 5PM.
