Councilwoman Evans has called Vidalia home for 29+ years. She has always had a desire to serve others and the community she loves. She wants to help ensure that Vidalia continues to grow, thrive, and succeed in every area of community development.

Jennifer is a proud graduate of Vidalia High School and graduate of Georgia College and State University. After returning home from college, she became the owner of Brown’s Jewelry.  In 2003, she began working for Dot Foods as the HR Manager and now currently working in operations as Transportation Manager.

On a local level, Jennifer has had the opportunity to serve on many community boards: United Way, Toombs-Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Vidalia Association, FVUMC, and Vidalia CVB.

Jennifer is a graduate of the 2000 Leadership Toombs-Montgomery Class and a graduate of the 2011 Leadership Georgia class. She was invited to serve on the 2013-2015 Leadership Georgia Board and in 2018, she was elected to serve a second term on the Executive Board, which led to me becoming the 2019 Leadership Georgia President.

Jennifer has been married to her husband, Lee, for 21 years. They have 2 teenagers, Rebecca and Chamlee, and are members of Vidalia First United Methodist Church.
