Message from the Chief:

I welcome you to the Vidalia Police Department web page.  I encourage you to review our available departmental information that will help our agency in serving you better.

As your Police Chief, I have proudly served our community for over twenty-two years.  As the Chief, I know that our success and effectiveness depends upon the community's support.  One of my primary goals is to recruit and retain individuals who are dedicated to work in the chosen police profession and realize their work has a direct impact on our community.  I want our agency to be in a position to achieve greatness, and to give everyone in our community an opportunity to enhance their lives.  I intend to be accessible, visible and accountable to our community.  Our entire department is dedicated to providing professional police and administrative services without fear or failure.  I also challenge the community to help us to create a city where our actions, our policies, and voices are united towards a common goal of law enforcement and community involvement.  So please, "If you see something; say something".
